As the Electrical Marine Test Engineer, my role plays an important and diverse role within the Engineering team. Performing data acquisition and analysis, analyzing quality issues, participating in root cause investigation and marine engine assembly/disassembly are just some of the responsibilities that I am responsible for.
Software design and validation
Design Verification to confirm the output of a designed software product meets the input specifications by examining and providing evidence. The goal of the design verification process during software development is ensuring that the designed software product is the same as specified.
Root cause investigation
A systematic process for identifying “root causes” of problems or events, specifically electrical, and an approach for responding to them.
